Runnin' Down A Dream Deep Creek Lake Cabin Rental

Deep Creek Lake (DCL), located in Garrett County within the Western Maryland mountains, has always been one of our favorite vacation destinations...and now our home since moving here in 2016. We love all of the outdoor (4 season) amenities the area offers. One of our hobbies is also attending concerts and music festivals. With an investment in this cabin, we felt it appropriate to dedicate the name of the cabin to Tom Petty (who passed soon after we last saw him in concert in Pittsburgh). While the song lyrics to Runnin' Down a Dream revolve around a road trip, we love the play on words -- where we hope our cabin allows our guests to run down AND catch their own dreams during their visit to DCL.

Runnin' Down A Dream is centrally located to all the popular attractions throughout the Deep Creek Lake and Garrett County areas -- being only 5 minutes from the popular Honi Honi (and many other restaurant hot spots) and the gorgeous Deep Creek Lake State Park, 10 minutes from Wisp Resort, 20 minutes from Swallow Falls, and more.

Not only does the cabin offer a great location spot to launch side trips to most all popular destinations, this cabin also includes renter access to our Paradise Ridge Community private lake access -- which is literally some of the most beautiful property on Deep Creek Lake -- featuring 150’ of flat lake frontage access, beach area, pavilions, picnic tables/benches, charcoal grills, kayak launch, swimming docks, and even restroom facilities!
